I have never seen a black pimple either. But i would say see a doctor or you can try Proactive. It really clears up pimples and blackheads. My brother used it and his skin is clear now and hes used for about 2 years. But you see results within weeks.

People have come up with some pretty inventive home remedies for zits. Some home remedies for pimples have included potatoes, vinegar and lemon juice, toothpaste, garlic, lime juice and basil. Some have claimed that these and other home remedies for pimples have worked for them quite well. In my own experience, no home remedy ever worked. The Regimen, however, keeps me clear. Aspirin Mask Aspirin contains BHA (Beta hydroxy acid) which is a powerful defoliant and great at helping unclog pores and clear blemishes. It's recommended that you use the Aspirin mask / scrub once a week. Step 1: Take 6 - 8 uncoated aspirin tablets in cup or bowl and crush them in to a powder. Step 2: Add a few drops of warm/hot water, allow vera gel or honey, now stir until you have a thick white paste. You may need to add more water to achieve the right consistency. Step 3: Spread over your entire face, sit back and relax for 10-15 minutes. You'll know when 15 minutes is up as the mask is likely to start falling off your face. Step 4: Wash off the mask with warm water and a gentle cleanser, as you wash gently massage, the grains will help exfoliate and reveal softer, glowing skin. Step 5: Gently pat your face dry.

It may be too late for this, but does he wash with a wash cloth when bathing? Wash cloths help exfoliate the skin and removes dead skin cells which build up on a daily basis (that's why it's a good idea to shower at least once a day).

The pimples that your brother is getting could be the result of clogged pores from the build up of natural oils. After he gets the medication or treatment he needs, tell him to bathe with a washcloth (or scrubby sponge thingy) and dry off with a clean towel every day. Be sure not to use the same towel for more than two days.

Hmmm, I've never seen a "black" pimple, unless the person's skin was "black". You want natural advice? You may have heard tons of times that a person's "diet" has nothing to do with acne. Most often you hear this statement from Dermatologists. In my opinion, they're wrong. I had awful acne and eventually went on antibiotics.

Just recently, this past month, I've really cleaned up my diet. I've completely stopped with fast food/junk food. And guess what? I haven't been on any meds for about 2 months, and my face has cleared right up.

Trust me, have your brother do it! He'll be happy when he sees results.

Acne usually starts during puberty. It usually affects the face, neck and back. However, acne on the chest is not unheard of. As for the black pimples, they are commonly called "black heads". Acne is an inflammatory condition. Irritation to the skin usually causes more acne. Therefore, do not use stringent soaps or other over the counter medications with alcohol in them. Acne usually subsides with age. However, for a teenage, its an eternity. In medicine, you always try the non-invasive therapies first and, if they fail, you slowly try the more invasive therapies. Laser therapy is very invasive. Laser therapy doesn't treat acne. Instead, it is used to treat facial scars due to acne.

Some suggestions. Use a mild soap like Dove or Basis for sensitve skin. Do not use soaps like Ivory or Lever 200 or Irish Spring. Acne is not due to greasy skin. Scrubbing your face with harsh soap will make it worse. Make sure to wear your hair back. Covering acne on the forehead by combing hair to hide it causes more acne. Be sure to use a mild shampoo (eg. Basis) and wash your hair daily. Do not pop acne. Acne is cause by a bacteria, which is why pimples usually have pus in them. By popping acne, you are spreading the bacteria.

There is no universal treatment for acne. It is a common problem. Tell your brother to be patient. Acne resolves itself in the vast majority of patients. Among teenagers there is always concern for self esteem and image. So, friends should be sensitive to your brother's feelings.

If they are severe anough there is this new treatment. Using mycroscopic crystals and a pulsating machine they go over each of the pimples. and will minimize their look.
