How do i convince my parents not to make me get a hair-cut???

1. Get a job and pay for your own haircuts, or food, pay some rent, pay anything to show you are growing up and becoming a mature and responsible adult.

2. Hang tough and just do what they say while you live under their roof, after all they do take care of you and you are a reflection of them when you are out in the community. They are embaressed that the son they love, and took such good care of is now running around town shaming them with a funky flop on his head.

You'll understand once you're there kiddo.

Keep it clean, Keep it at least trimmed and styled. If its dirty or dirty looking and has no style what so ever they have an arguement. WASH IT EVERY DAY. If you can't commit to washing it every day then they are probably not too far off by wanting you to cut it. I'm not saying that you don't keep your hair nice but most guys I know keep their hair extremely low maint. if at all. What are they going to do? Cut it in your sleep? Kick you out because you won't cut it? Seriously, they probably won't bug you as long as you do well with everything else they ask you and if your hair looks well kept.

Maybe comprimise: Get it cut shorter, but not extremely short. Or tell them it will emotionally damage you to lose so big a part of you. Or that your friends would abandon you if you didn't have your hair. Offer to pay them to let you keep it. Ask if they'd prefer you wear it braided/in a bun. Just start crying and pleading, dropping to you knees and begging them to let you keep it (preferably in a public place). Ask if they could live with it if you dyed it some obsene color, like pink or neon green. Tell them that without it, you'll have to revert to a gang. Convince them that your hair's your only friend. Tell them you're a warlock, and you magic lies in your hair. Idk. . .Something extreme (if they still make you cut it, you can at least annoy them in the process).

Shampoo & condition your Hair. Look like you care about your appearence.
Grunge looks don't cut it with parents, or some girls.
Then ask for a real cool looking hair cut from the best place in your area.

If you look good with long hair, by all means try to let your parents know that you look good. Ask around, whether your friends like u with long or short hair. If they think u look bad, it's time for a haircut.

Parents will be parents.Always bossing over their children.Telling them to do this and do that.For no reason.If you love your hairstyle dont get a hair cut.Of course once a month or every 45 days do take a hair cut.It trims unwanted and ugly, stiff hairs.

this is not about hair. parents judge each other on the way their kids look, which is not really fair. if they still pay ur bills, i suggest u meet them half way. tell them u'll get a cut if u can go somewhere half decent to get it done.

Do you look good in long hair? If, yes that would be your saving grace....I had to cut my hair because someone made me...but they were dying on the floor laughing so I had to grow it back.

I strike a deal with my parents to please them, but keep my hair the way I like, like combing it, or makeing i look like they might like when i go places with them. If I do it often enough they forget its been almost 6 months since i got it cut...
