I am soooo proud of you. We all have abilities and gifts, and it impresses me that you are determined to be the best at what your gifts are. And yes, I am a teacher. Not everybody is on the college track. (Cool thing is, though, you can always go back...) L'Chaim.

If being the best school janitor is what you want to be than we I am proud of you. Being a school custodian is a very important job. The children are at school several hours each day and the school has to be kept clean and free from as man germs as possible. The teachers need the rooms cleaned. There are many other important jobs the custodian does.
If the question was to make fun of janitors then no I am not proud of you.

The best school janitor. Was this your life aspiration??Your life goal??? If you're serious I don't know why you would drop out a year short of graduation.
If you're not kidding, I'm sure there was more to life that you'd hope to be, not that there is anything wrong with being a janitor, but whatever your age is , it's never too late to get your GED or to take college courses and do better for yourself.
If you're truly happy where you are and what you're doing, than no need to get a GED or college degree. Whatever makes you happy, just make sure you have no regrets that you can't still fix.

Here's to you, Mr. High School Dropout Turned School Janitor Guy!
You're the guy who keeps the semen, urine, and feces off the floor in the boys locker-room shower.
You are the one that wipes the stray nose pickings off of the bathroom stall walls.
Without you, the bottom of every desk would be covered in a solid 2 inches of discarded chewing gum and the lunch-lady would never be able to stand up in all the grease that drops from the "salisbury steak".
Here's to you, Mr. High School Dropout Turned School Janitor Guy!

No, I am not proud to see someone who is allowing doors to shut on their future. There are many options students have to complete a high school program, and receive benefits to pay for an incredible variety of training/ technical programs. I am discouraged in that your counselers did not provide you with the information. I am a teacher, and two of my children had to complete high school a differnt way. You must go to a community college and speak with someone about your options. I went back later in my life, but it was difficult. You should go now while you have fewer responsibilities.

I wish you the best of luck! Everybody's got to have a job, and you've got one. So why not be the best janitor, and take pride in the service you provide and the paycheck you bring home. If you aren't, it is never to late to finish and get a different job. Your life, your choice.

Good luck...but being a janitor is not the most notable job in the world. You should go back to school while you still have time.

yes, believe it or not a custodian (they're not called janitors) actually is someone that teachers should always befriend.
I'm an art teacher - and if my room isn't cleaned regularly by a good custodian with a good work ethic my room is a disaster!!!
Good luck!

sure, the world needs janitors.
a lot of the education system (and society) has everyone convinced that self worth is measured in the degree of education attained. as a result, a lot of people end of with an education that really doesn't help them much (economically, socially, or otherwise). the world needs skilled tradesmen, but there are fewer and fewer out there - so it is now becoming a much more attractive career.
kudos to you and good luck!

Yes. And you're gonna need it.
Getting revenge on your teachers is ballsy and funny, but there should be more to your life. What about the tools they hid from you? What about the tools they didt't even know about!
There is a way to protect your soul -- from all interference -- and the clerks who run our schools will never teach this to the students. Read this newspaper article and email me if you "get it."
