Of course cat's are better, thay can look after their self, if you have to go somewhere not to worrie, put out some litter and food your good to go. Where as a dog you have to find someone to dog sit for you, cause thay have to go out side to use the bathroom and you can only put put so much food down for them at a time or else thay will eat tell thay can't move. Cat's are smaller, not in your way when your cooking, thay can sleep in the bed with you to keep you warm, where as a dog can't do that, cause in most case's thay are to big, and a cat is so quite, where a dog barks most of the time. As you can tell i think cat's are cute and cuddly, where as a dog is in the way.

Definitely dogs. Dogs are always loyal, friendly, less fussy but more intelligent. Have you noticed how excited a dog gets when it see its owner? Have you ever seen the same reaction in a cat? The kind of affection you get from a dog cannot be emulated by a cat.

I'm more of a cat person. Cats and I get along well because we have the same personality. Sometimes we enjoy company, sometimes we just enjoy being on our own. Plus, in my household nobody stays home all day, and a cat is more independent. You don't have to walk him. As long as he has his litter box, he'll be fine.

But I like dogs too. I used to have a dog, and they keep you company like any other pet.

Dogs are the best by far. Cats are cute but they do not interact with you the way a dog does. They just want to be left alone to do their thing. Get a dog.

I love both dogs and cats.

I belive it is not the "which is better" thing, it is if you want to understand them or not, or it fits in your life style or not.

It is very truly that dogs do react more with people, but if you have ever spend time with cats, you will know that they can react, too. My cats follow me front yard or back yard, they will show up when I called them, they will go away if I said "not right now".

Dogs because you can do more things with them. Cats are really skittish/skiddish... (however you spell it) and well.... I don't know. I like cats but I think dogs are better.

And don't worry about that "Scadle" person. That was very rude of them to say. I hope your cat... if you have one... lives a very long time.

dogs. i have never been a fan of cats because i prefer an animal i can play with and that will just come lay down with me and is always loving. i don't care for the mood swings cats have. i have enough of those myself.

I have and love both. Our dog is more dependent for affection so he's great for those cuddling moments. However, the cats are fun to watch and share your home with and they are so independent that it's a privilage when they come to you for snuggles!

I love both. Dogs are very protective and fun to play with. Cats are great to sit in your lap and just let you pet them for hours.
