I won on the lottery and claimed it was wiondering what i do know cann't afford to lose medical insurande

holy freaking cow ,what a bunch of chiselers and weasels, and skinflints,no wonder the system is broke. yet you got that hand out , Christ .B TW I work for the IRS.

I am sure that just a photocopy of the numbers would not be accepted since they could be changed and then photocopied without being detectable. I know that lotto tickets usually have a serial number on them. If the lotto computer keeps a copy of the serial number along with the number choices and you had a photocopy of the serial number and no one turned in the ticket then maybe.

Since SSI is a needs-based program, if you've just won a whole lot of money, you don't need the assistance. The maximum you can have varies by state, marital status, if you live alone.

best thing to do is look up the laws for your state. Most lotto winnings are taxed and they are just that, winnings. so u arent supposed to lose income from SSI disability

Have an adult relative that you trust to claim the ticket and split the winnings. It's a gamble,but then life is.

This is not rocket science.
I was in a similiar situation several years ago
I had a trusted friend and confidante claim the money for me
I gave her a token gift of appreication, and lost none of my
benefits.

If you have already claimed it as you say, then they deducted the taxes already plus have your SSI#, so the question is now moot. I am sure you already signed papers too. How much was it anyway?
