When I was on Phase I of the South Beach diet, my cravings went away after 3 days or so. Phase I is basically alot of protein and veggies, no carbs and no fruit.

Well, I do a few strange things when I'm dieting... Here are my 2 best:
Crystal light is great. It's sweet and can multi-task. You can drink it, freeze it into popsicles, make it into slushies in the blender, and also now put it in your bottled water.
My absolute must have is Hershey's Syrup! No fat, no calories and it's another multi-tasker.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

I would recommend doing an herbal cleanse also known as detox- you can get detox tea and drink it for 1-2 weeks and drink at least half your weight in ounces of water a day (for instance, if you weigh 140 you would need to drink 70 ounces of water a day.)
I highly recommend the detox tea from natures nectar ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Detox-Herbal-Tea-A-Blend-of-All-Natural-Herbs_W0QQitemZ4433016670QQihZ001QQcategoryZ38181QQcmdZViewItem ) and also try their critter pauder which will also help you detoxify your body.
These two combined daily have been wonderful for me. I quit smoking, caffeine and chocolate/sweets by drinking the detox tea as recommended plus the critter pauder 2x daily (1/4 tsp per 25 lbs of weight mixed in tomato juice)
