It could be clogged or failing injectors, the Throttle Positioning Sensor, Oxygen Sensor, or Fuel Pump starting to go bad. I'd check those out . I'm not sure your exact situation but it sounds like either you aren't getting enough fuel to the engine or not enough air. Another thing I don't know is if you are talking about if it stalls while idling or while driving and if your check engine light is on which will mean something electrical. The four I told you are the basic problems which will cause it to sputter and stall. You might want to find someone to run a diagnostic on it with a code reader. I believe it is an OBD1 engine system, but I might be wrong. That will tell you if the sensors are acting up. Run some fuel injection cleaner through the engine to clear up any clogs, that might help. I hope everything works out for you and it is one of the simple problems I mentioned.

It sound,s like it,s not getting enough gas,,,have you changed the fuel filter on it,,that will cause it to do that,,also ,,in real extreme heat condition,s it may actually be vapor locking,,this happen,s sometimes, when the canister purge line get,s clogged up,,and the tan k can,t breath,,try unscrewing your gas cap,,and then putting it back on,,next time it does that,,if that don't help,,it may be a bad filter or even a bad fuel pump,,these are the most common causes for what it is doing,,i hope this help,s you.
