If somebody says something against Jesus, nothing; but if somebody says something against Bush, there's likely to be an all-out brawl. Why?

I don't mean that I put down Jesus. I absolutely love Jesus with all my heart. I just mean I've heard things like this before.

Because today, people are more into wars and politics and forget God! But mind you, people do say so much ugly nasty statements also against Jesus and God its unbielevable.

It is my experience that in the US is where this takes place , other countries devoted to God do not bash HIM nor Jesus.

Not all people obvviously hate God or Jesus here in the US. Many Americans are great Christians, but yes there are too many more that are just into Bush BUsh BUsh and democrats this or that and all the cuz words come out . PPL even deviate from the news and start with their politics and bashing each other.

Its stressful.

John Lennon got into it when he said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus back in the 60's..I'd much rather listen to the Beatles than to George II. Jesus doesn't need to be defended, he's quite capable of defending himself. Bush, on the other hand, is widely perceived to be an idiot, who needs the likes of Halliburton, Enron and Daddy to look after him. I guess that doesn't really answer your question, but I needed to say it.

We are living in the last days. Alot of people don't believe in Jesus. This world cares more about political affairs rather than their salvation, it's sad but true.

Unfortunately, mans priorities have greatly changed. Especially with all the different religions in the world, one has the right to speak freely about their beliefs. Politics are a whole different story.

Maybe they like Bush better than they like JESUS! (Matt. 10:22)

PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO OPEN UP ABOUT JESUS. THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD. IF WE ALL LIVED OUR LIVES ACCORDING TO GOD'S WORD THIS COULD BE A PEACEFUL WORLD. PEOPLE CRITICIZE PEOPLE WHO TALK ABOUT THE LORD. WE NEED TO TELL PEOPLE HOW LOVING GOD HELPS US TO LOVE OTHERS AND BE KIND THAT IS WHAT JESUS WOULD WANT US TO DO.

Because a lot of people believe in religious tolerance. A lot of people hate Bush, and a lot of people like him, and they're more open about it. Plus, he looks like a monkey, and monkey's are fun to talk about.

well, I think that's a no brainer

people feel more strongly about this life than the next, so they really don't care about Jesus
