It really is quite simple...they are not soulmates. They think they are but are not. it has nothing to do with Christianity either.

Please pardon me but the way I look at it, they may not be soulmates at all. From some books that I read about soulmates, it is clearly stated that soulmates are always in harmonious or lucky wave paths with each other. This means that if they happen to be a husband and wife team, these soulmates will be very happy in their married life. If they are not a marriage team, if they are business associates, their business will bloom and be very successful.
However, if the couple you mentioned are real soulmates in their own right, perhaps they have not reached that stage where they will look at and accept each other as a complement that makes them whole which means that each will complete the other for without one the other will not be whole. If this couple does not seem to understand each other, if ithey believe that they are soulmates, they should try to reverse the process and live in harmony because if they are really soulmates which may turn out to be a possibility at the end, they will just be wasting their chance to live in bliss with each other or even to have a prosperous business of their own.
You may determine your soulmate if you find someone who has many similarities with your personality such as birthdays, place of birth, favorites, names of family members and relatives, and more often, birthmarks and moles. However, not all soulmates take the human form, sometimes they appear as plants or animals but often they come in human form. If by chance you find your soulmate to be in human form, you have found somebody who will make your life complete so take good care of your relationship with him or her making extra careful that the chain that will bind you as a couple or friends will never ever be broken by anything or anyone in this world.

Well...it's like this, soul mates doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be together in a relationship. Perhaps, you were put together to help each other grow, to show each other the other half to the ying or yang, depending on which side you are. Together you made a whole, carry that with you and grow and be your own mate-commune with god and his creations, through this you will find your "soul" and mate. God Bless!

to start, if they strongly believe they are soulmates, they just might be. it's a strange phenomena to meet your soulmate. some know right off the bat or some it might take a little bit to realize. not all meetings are happy even though some will try to make it work...they just may do more damage and cause more pain for each...some like to long for the duration of their life in hopes of meeting their soulmate...some never will...some that do, will be happy...some will find pain...some will have peace...some will not...but evevtually you will know if you meet your 'soulmate'. in an unfortunate way i must endure the rest of my life knowing that i have found my soulmate...i just happened to recieve the pain...we split a few years back, but we both know when we are thinking of each other, when we are moody...even being far far away...we 'know'...it's difficult to explain certain feelings, ie;love sick, butterflies, gut wrenching, breathless stares, painful longing for each other, manic panic and 'don't ever let go of me' hugs and kisses...it's often very hard to handle for some...our problem was that we 'found' each other out of time..we were not meant for this time today...hence...pain...we knew we couldn't stay with one another...explanation can come in thought and feel, but reality, is hard to comprehend for most...it's a very rare occasion to find your soulmate...if you have to let go...you will know...if it's something you are wishing for and you are the one in a relationship hoping the other half is your soulmate, and you know they are not,well...you know the answer to that as well...the question to answer, actually is: 'can one be a soulmate for the other, and another be theirs'?......
