If you think any person living on this earth is perfect, you aren't facing reality. All have the sin nature & make mistakes. No one is a Know it All. Jesus is only one that never sinned being born of a virgin & not having the sin nature (from sin sperm).

I've been accused of being a Know it All. Because I have learned something from God, because I asked Him & wanted to share it with someone else. God told me that if I ask Him for wisdom, He will give it to me. Conditions are abiding in His Love & His Word (will) & ask with faith (not doubting or being unspecific).

I was confused by the Word of God (bible) because JWs & Mormans came to my door & confused me. God gave me the Holy Spirit of Truth. It leads me into all truth and is not a liar. I can trust in Him. His book is the bible. Love rejoices in the truth. I can rejoice in the truth in the Holy Spirit.

God told me to tell anyone that calls me a Know it All to tell that person that I go to the Know it All.

I have a relationship with God, the All Knowing, by receiving the Gift of Salvation, through faith in Jesus Christ my Lord.

I sure hope you get 0 replies from anyone who is perfect, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD.

Please let me know what you many want to understand, and I will help guide you to the parts of the bible that may help.

I can also give you cultural "morals" that were in place at different times in the writing of certain books. Reading secular history from the time of the writings is a great tool to understanding different meanings to words that we now use in other ways.

Above all, keep reading and praying for understanding, and always remember to accept no mans word about the bible without being able to match it up to the bible itself, for it is the ultimate living word.

I think your answering parties will be limited. No one is perfect, and if they are claiming to be, they are lying which is a violation of the 10 commandments. That would make them a non-christian so they couldn't preach to you either hence, you are back to square on. The best thing I can recommend is hit some churches of multiple denominations and listen to what the priest, minister, pastor, etc have to say and form your own conclusions. That's what I did and it worked out pretty good for me. Good question and good luck on your quest!!

The bottom line is that no one is perfect, but if you want understanding of God's Word, what better source than God to turn to. However you must have an open and understanding mind and heart. Other than that, people can give you their opinion. Mine is that God wants us to rely on Him for our every need. He also wants us to be cheerful givers and to love others unconditionally.

Even your sarcasim is tainted---even to elude that there is such a thing as perfection in mankind in any form is to display your ignorance like neon
And to be searching for explainations of the word of ---what god ?? (are you talking about the Word of God---now there's something for you to look into)
And I don't have the "hear" from God to "hear" a very bitter and self-centered self-assured *** who HAS got alot to learn about such matters and probably never will because they think they've got it down

Nobody is perfect. So know one can qualify to answer you given the criteria you've set forth. What did you ever learn that did not come from a book - from Pre-K to College. Anybody can ramble on with their own interpretations, which mean no more than yours. So what's the point?

There is only one God. I recomend praying for God to guide your understanding and teach you through His Holy Spirit what you need to know. Give it all to God read pray and meditate on His word and you will eventually start to get it. Also find a good christian mentor and a good church to help you on your journey. Accept Christ into your life lean on Him and He will do the rest.
Many Blessings, Tina

no one is perfect> The bible reveals the salvation plan through the messiah (Jesus) in the old testament. Salvation is completed by Jesus on the cross in the new testament. Afterwards, the salvation "good news" is preached by the apostles in the Book of "acts of the apostles". Then, Salvation is explained in the epistles (letters) of the apostles. Finally salvation is completed in the Book of revelation (apocalypse) when Jesus takes the faithful w/ him to heaven. pray to Jesus that he may reveal to you the word of God.

The "word of God" is the Holy Bible. The "Word of God" is God incarnate, who is Jesus the Christ (Messiah, Anointed of God). It is by His Spirit that we are led into understanding of the Scriptures and the nature of God. The Bible is God's character. If we cannot quote from Scripture (God's autobiography) then how can you know and understand God?
