wal mart usually has fellows working there who know how to fish, ask when ya get there. Bass pro shop is good if you want alternative. The day men in w/m are usually there cause they want a low stress job that they can leave if it interferes with a fishing tournaments schedule..

Any of the bait-fish imitations would probably work, look for those by mirro-lure (most all their stuff is for saltwater). Another brand to try would be Rapala. A couple specific baits would be the Spot (Cordell is manufacture) or the Rattletrap (basically same thing, different maker). All freshwater imitations will work, but you would probably want to swap the treble hooks out for a saltwater version (lesser chance of corrosion) and rinse them off with freshwater after use to help prevent the corrosion due to the salt. You might find soome of these at Wal-Mart, but would find a better selection elsewhere.

For a serious answer, Yes Wal-mart carried crankbaits for saltwater, they also have plastics as well, like worms & jigs. saltwater is just a little more corrosive than freshwater that is why there are diferences in the lures. Head to wal-mart, or a Sports Authority or even a local bait shop and they will hook you up.
Good luck
