Jehovah's Witnesses are christian, because we believe in Christ (!). But what are your scriptures to back up your claim that he is God?

In the Bible book of John, chapter 1:18 it says no man has seen God at any time. Then it goes on to say that people "beheld Jesus" and some saying "See, the lamb of God..." They "looked at Jesus..." they referred to him as the "Son of God". Jesus said "the Father is greater than I am..." at John 14:28, John 5:30 Jesus said he seeks to do the will of "he who sent me..." The entire Bible never once says trinity or even gives any indication of anything beyond Jesus being God's son. Use logic. When Jesus was baptised, was he throwing his voice pretending to be God and saying he approved of himself as a son? If so, was he lying about it? Did he come down like a bird and sit on his own head? Too many things say this "trinity "mystery" is made up by men. I use John extensively because those who claim "trinity use the first paragraph of the first chapter to try an prove their point. Failing to take into account the Ancient Greek language. This part of the Bible was originally written in Greek. Later, translators rendered the Greek text into other languages. A number of Bible translators, though, did not use the phrase “the Word was God.” Why not? Based on their knowledge of Biblical Greek, those translators concluded that the phrase “the Word was God” should be translated differently. How? Here are a few examples: “The Logos [Word] was divine.” (A New Translation of the Bible) “The Word was a god.” (The New Testament in an Improved Version) “The Word was with God and shared his nature.” (The Translator’s New Testament) According to these translations, the Word is not God himself. Instead, because of his high position among God's creatures, the Word is referred to as “a god.” Here the term “god” means “mighty one.”

Jesus didn't teach he was GOD but God's son; he said the father is greater than I am. Jesus was hailed before Pontius Pilate for according to the Jews for the blasphemy of saying that God was his father, had Jesus have said he was God, the Jews would have executed him without the Romans. Question who resurrected Jesus after his death and the 3 days he was dead;why does John 3:13 call Jesus the first ti ascend from heaven to go back to heaven.

Well, Orthodox Chrisitanity came to the conclusive decision on the trinity in the 300's......
Then there are those like the girl above that have just had poor catechesis! What can a religion do? According to ORTHODOX Chrisitians; The one true God is made of three distinct PERSONS: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.........
JW's and LSD etc. are all actually Christian heretics.

Jesus Christ is most definitely God. He is the Creator of the universe. The Bible says, "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made" (John 1:3). This includes all the stars, all the original animals and plants, and even the angels (Colossians 1:15-17). Jesus is God, and he has always existed.

God, Son of God, what is the difference. If you are Jones, are you not the son or daughter of Jones. Any so called Christian that says Jesus is not God, is not a true Christian. If you are the son of Jones, does that mean you are not a Jones? God is God, be it the Father, Son, or Holy Spirit, all three are God. God is the family name. Just like Father Jones, Son Jones, Holy Spirit Jones. Comes from ignorance and a severe lack of real study of the scripture.

Who says the JW's, LDS's, etc. are Christian?
They believe He lived, that He was a prophet, but they refuse to acknowledge His deity. Without that foundational belief, they are not Christian, and therefore fall into the category of "Cult."
