I am glad that some of you know proper english. I have a diease that has taken most my memory from me. I forget things from day to day. Its called seziures. So forgive me if my english is not up to par for some of your educated people. I do my best. But I forgive you all for making fun of me cause a true born again Christian would not dare speak to another Christian that way.

I too have seizures as well as a few other things that affect my memory. I would never pick at someone for their grammar or spelling. If it was something that could mean something else I may ask or you may not get the right answer but I don't mean any harm by it.

The reason they do that is because they can't really answer your question adequately so they focus on something else to get their 2 points instead of actually helping. If you are born-again, you will forgive them for their lapses of ignorance and move on rather than focus on them which is what they want in the first place. Know you are above them and in the light of God and let it go. My sympathy for your illness and I hope that God will give you healing, with a little help from a doctor or two. Good luck and God bless!!

Good point! Yes, people do tend to get pretty high and mighty when they find an easy target in someone whose English skills are not perfect.

It's easy to see the difference between someone who is ignorant and asking an ignorant question and just doesn't care about grammar, and those who try to ask sincere questions even if spelling and grammar do not come easily to them.

It's so much easier to nitpick over bad spelling when you just can't think of anything intelligent to contribute.

Making fun of someone for any reason, other than in a loving way, is immature. By "loving way" I mean teasing in a positive light.

Having said that, do not judge others based on their criticism of your grammar. Yes, a "true born again Christian" might make fun of your grammar, but only because they are immature, or as my grandma always said "just mere babes in Christ".

Everyone is at a different level of maturity in Christ; their transformation is not an all-at-once thing, okay? :)

While I feel it is unnecessary for some people to be rude about people using proper grammar and spelling, when using an online community it is just polite to try your hardest to use proper english.

Not every response regarding your grammer was rude however.

While I'm sorry that you have received certain responses you have, this is not a question that you have posted here.

Some people are like that, girl. If your grammar is all someone worries about, that's not the type of negative influence you want, anyways.

Congrats for standing up for what you believe in. It's what you believe, and you're a better person for NOT talking to others the way that they have talked to you.

Hmm, maybe you can blame your disease for this one, but I don't mind your grammar. It's your ideas about born again Christans that shock me. Christians are imperfect like anyone else. We still slip up and make mistakes. (Alot of mistakes), The difference is that we have accepted God's forgivness for their mistakes. I'm not saying that they are justified for what they did. What they did is wrong.

You are a better person than most. Alot of people make fun of others just so they don't have to look at themselves. I'm sure they are not perfect either. As long as you do your best, that's all that matters!

Yeah, let's gather up all the born again Christians and beat up the person who was mean to you.
