If God doesn't care about religion, why squabble so much between each other?

I think God cares about faith- very different from religion.
Today, unfortunately, some use "religion" as an excuse for their hate toward others, and their hunger for power.

great question!

Religion is a man-made activity that God cares less about. God wants us to basically rely on Him for everything and there is no one religion that does that "better" over the other because everyone is different and shows their gratitude differently.

As far as squabbling is concerened, as long as there are people and their different personalities, there will be much squabbling. Those squabblers aren't concerned with what God thinks, they worry about what other people think.

God has laid all the rules and knowledge in The Bible. He does not talk of religions. Its not about religions , that is a man made invention to control chaos and the masses of people who would otherwise still live in the archaic world where no God TRUE AND ONLY ONE GOD was present in their knowledge.

It is God we have to honor not people in a religion, nor prophets nor any other but God as God is a jealous God and He is the only one who made us, the world and the Universe and all. The way to act, think and pray and what not is in HIS WORD written by chosen people of His.

Jesus said : in the end times there willl be massive deception beware!
massive disputes!
and today we face a challenge of all the false prophets (they think they are prophets) telling people MY RELIGION IS IT. But so many are wrong.

Humans make the fights. And humasn are greedy so the ones with convincing words and leadership will lead the herd of sheep to the wrong thing.

Mormonism is a good example of a late religion of a false prophet Joseph Smith. this guy only came up with it in the 1800's or 1700's and he took it upon himself to say "no other religion is good, i will pray in the garden and get God's help AND GOD TOLD HIM HE WAS THE ONE WHO HAD THE RIGHT RELIGION.

Give me a break! That is nonsense,
Jesus, the son of God, left an distintinct order for which to set up honoring God! He told Peter "on this rock I shall build my church".

People confuse church with a building but Christ meant the church as all the people who honor God not a building. He left instructions, he taught, he did miracles, he resurrected and showed his chosen apostles how and what.
NOTHING ELSE IS CLOSE TO THE TRUTH BUT THIS ONE.

It is like two boys fighting over who has the better imaginary playmate.

The root of conflict is anger. The root of anger is fear. Fear is the mindkiller. It shuts off reason and control of the body. The fear is that the person is wrong. All their lives they have bought a religion based on hearsay, books written and editted years and years ago in languages they themselves do not speak.

Prophets speak in coded languages and most of the fundamentalists are hardly scholars. They grab bits of words and phrases and hold onto them as a drowning man grabs toothpicks off a sinking ship.

One thing is certain in life, death. And with most, the fear of death is overcome by the panacea of religion. If they just believe strongly enough, they will not die. Now another religion comes through and you are snatching even the toothpicks away.

Up on top, there is a great deal of money to be made in religion. Even though many of the founders were poor, their religious leaders now hardly wear sack-cloth. St. Francis was barely cold when his order was taken over and changed. You want to make a mint, found a religion. L. Ron Hubbard (Church of Scientology) said something like that.

My direct experiences with The Ineffable Light leads me to believe that God does not care about religion and really does not get involved with mankind much at all. Now that is only MY truth. I am trying to be as nice to folks as I can.

Peace.

God cares about religion but doesn't care which one we chose as long as it's good and not a bad religion and that we believe in Him and not some mad up god that allows it's followers to murder others and then say they are going to heaven.
God wants us all to get along with each other and not hurt others.
God wants us all to live in peace and not war.
God can not be blamed to the acts of all those idiots who thrive on war and try to dominate the whole world.
God gave us this world to live in and to do good for others and that means no killings of any kind.
God does believe in religion but how many of us believe in it?

Because God is not always God in everyone's religion. There is usually some kind of supreme being involved, but not necessarily God per-say. In addition, there are those that don't follow 'the bible', me being one of them, so we are already in conflict of those who do. All God really cared about was for us to worship Him first and foremost above all others. He never gave any guidelines as to HOW to do it unless you take the many forms of assorted 'words of God' each religion has been based on. We are the ones that care, not Him. It will never end as long as there are so many differences in the world. Good question!!!

No, I don't think God cares about religion at all! Not one single bit. We squabble because we live within the illusion that we are separate when in fact we are all connected to our source creator and we ALL return to our creator after the illusion of life in this physical dimension is over.

What do you think, God sitting up there wont be concerned to know if people worship him or not, if people are doing the right thing or not? Religions are all made up into different beliefs just to suit the man. True faith or religion as you may call it, is Submission to God, and this is all he wants.

God (if there is one) wouldn't care about religion. Religion is man made thats why there is so many wars in the name of religion. Spirituality is what God wanted

According to Jesus: God is looking for those who will worship him in truth and in spirit. ( John 4:21-24 ) Is worship the same as religion? If it is, then God really cares about religion.

This doesn't really answer your question at all but reminded me of an episode of The Simpsons or Family Guy. I don't remember which one but the family ended up dying and going to heaven and at the Gates of Heaven, God asked them for their religion. They said "Catholic" or something and he said "I'm sorry, but the correct answer was Mormon" and sent them to Hell while they watched all the mormons play happily on the other side of the gate.

Sorry for that. Just thought it was funny and was a little bit relevant to the subject.
