I doubt it is that easy. I tried to do that before, and still haven't found out how.

It is very unlikely done by a file inside the installed directory (i.e. Program Files folder). But, it doesn't hurt to check it there first.

Then, you can try to go through the Windows Registry to see if there is a key in it that keeps track of expirateion date. Note that you should not mess with Registry unless you know what you are doing or you have experience editing your Windows Registry keys.

To access your Registry, click Start->Run, then type in "regedit" and enter.

To warn you one last time, don't mess with the Registry unless you know what you are doing or you have experience editing Registry keys.

Good job in beating USC in Rose Bowl. We hate them too.

Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention that Registry is only a possible place; the trial time can be kept tracked somewhere else too, since we tried to go through Registry and couldn't get around with a program either.

If you have a Mac it is easy just save a copy of what your preferences are (the whole folder) before downloading the trial version software then throw out the preferences which are attached to the trial software when the trial expires. The copy of the folder will allow you to see quickly which files have been added and therefore which files to delete.

Yeah, a lot of people might hate paying taxes too...

If you have a real need for the software, buy it. If no one did, then it wouldn't be available in the first place. I'm not saying I've been a saint about it myself, but I know better than to ask in a public forum for an answer like this...
