I agree that men should NEVER hit a woman and you should probably leave. I don't know how you asked him to massage your feet but you were an *** to slap him for refusing your request. It doesn't excuse him hitting you back though. Sounds like the two of you are better off apart.

I'm neither condoning nor advocating any sort of revenge tactics, but a little known yet highly effect method of getting revenge for such abuse might very well be to take every article of clothing he owns, from socks and underwear to blue jeans and brooks brothers suits, dousing them with lighter fluid and roasting marshmallows over the bonfire.

I have never raised my hand to my wife, and usually have no use for shitbags who hit women. But, if you struck him first, then you brought it on yourself baby! I understand your frustration for him refusing to massage your sore tired feet, but that did not call for you striking him across the face. Refusing to cook, clean, or give it to him the next time he is in the mood would be acceptable, but striking someone accross the face is absolutely the ultimate insult, not to mention extremely painful! I usually take the women's side when it comes to domestic violence, but, in this case, you brought it on yourself, and got what you deserved.
