CAPTAIN CRUNCH has been a captain for like 40 YEARS, who else thinks he should be promoted to ADMIRAL?
It just seems like he has put in decades of work defending our cereal ports, and bowls, but he still has the same rank. He at least deserves rear admiral, don't you think?

He should be demoted if he couldn't make admiral after 40 years. How about Seaman Crunch?

I think that one of the major reasons why Captain Crunch is still a captain is due to the sub par job he's done in terms of impressment. While other captain are claiming, "eligible men of seafaring habits between the ages of 18 and 55 years," Captain Crunch is picking up children! I'm sure that the higher ups are quite angry with his choice of a crew because of this and thus have left him as a lowly captain.

I agree he's put in the hours to deserve the title!
But if he's made Admiral he has to stay in the home port in the office. Only Captains get to command the ship so I suppose that's why he's still captain!

He should only be promoted to Admiral once he finds a way to keep his cereal from cutting the roof of your mouth. He also needs to launch an armada against Count Chocula and Tony the Tiger.

I bet he's always slacking on his job and eating cereal, and he's always inviting kids onto the boat.

He's probably still captain for a reason. Not to mention there's no alliteration in Admiral Crunch.

Captain Crunch isn't in it for the glory!!! He defends the cereal trade from the cardboard taste-a-like imitators because he believes in a better tasting breakfast.

Wrong section, but no. Haven't you ever seen Star Trek? They don't let you captain the ships if you are an admiral. I'm with James T. Kirk.

There are those who would like to see him elected president of the United States, and those who think he might do a better job than our current Chief Exec.
I'm not saying I necessarily agree, just that there are those who feel that way.

Indeed, he does deserve a promotion.

But my question is, what country or group is he affiliated with? Is he part of the US Navy?
