A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

most girls would say "stay by the toilet" not true at all. the less you have in your body the more your body will store what you already have and turn it into fat and feed of that... which takes a long time so don't think your body is going to start feeding off your fat. to lose 20 pounds fast and safe just go on a smart diet. cut out pop/sugars. the average person loses 5 pounds by simply cutting out cokes. eat 6 meals a day... not just 3. small 6 meals that is. the more you eat a day in smaller portions, the more your metabolism speeds up. it's just small tricks to start getting in shape. the more you get in a good habit of doing, the easier it is to lose more weight. not only is eating habits going to help but exercise as well. don't over do it. just take one day at a time and within a few weeks you'll be able to see a big difference!

There is no way to do this super-quickly and have it stick because you'd likely just end up with a bunch of lost water weight.

You need to reduce your caloric intake (food) and increase your caloric output (exercise). There are really no magic bullets---this is why the weight loss industry is huge but there is really no 1 miracle product.

If you must must try to lose weight super-quickly, there is a program from the bodymakeover in 6 weeks people for a 6 day program that probably involves a lot of fasting and exercise. THIS ISN'T HEALTHY and that is why the other person said it's an oxymoron.

I don't think u can lose 20 lbs fast...coz it takes time to lose that unless u buy that turbo jam program on the informercial coz they say u can lose 10 lbs in 10 days... The best way is to exercise... or start a physical training regimen (running or jogging, swimming, weights, etc) and stick to it... plus eat a balanced meal - like fruits, veggies, lotsa protein but less carbs, but don't eliminate carbs, still stick that on your diet.

The most important thing is: don't skip breakfast. Once you have that exercise thing going and the daily balanced meals, you'll lose the lbs u want. However, once you're doing weight training and you might notice that you're still not losing weight, your fat have turned into muscle so basically you're gaining the weight bec of the lean muscle build-up but don't worry... you can always tell you've lost weight once you look yourself in the mirror or your body will tell ya. ;o)

Start by drinking a gallon of water per day. Dont skip this step, as it is the most important one. Take a look at your diet, are you eating fast food? Thats a huge one! Sounds cliche, but are you getting regular excercise every day? If not, start walking briskly 30-40 mins per day, and increase time when your comfortable. Diet......HUGE!!!! Eat five small meals a day comprising of lean protien(chicken breast, fish, lean cuts of beef),and veggies. Youll be able to cut 20lbs in a couple months.

stop drinking beer. especially at night.

eat breakfast. don't skip meals. try to eat smaller meals more often.

don't overdo it on one food you think is a healthy snack--fruits and vegetables have more calories than you think.

get lots of sleep.

if you are in high school, wrestle. it is the best exercise.

drink lots of water.

like everyone else said, walk everywhere.

join a gym and no matter how much you hate it at first, go. a lot. spinning classes are great, swimming is great, elliptical trainers are great.

build muscle mass. it burns calories and makes a couple extra pounds a little more excusable.

Strict diet and a lot of excercise. Don't starve yourself, go to a nutricionist to help you organize a diet that helps you loose weight and be healthy at the same time. If you don't do exercise you'll be wasting a chance for a good health and loosing weight.
