God does not murder, people do. It's a consequence of free will. Thankfully, the temporal life in the flesh is not the important one. And you're right . . . a loving Father cannot eternally torment his beloved child for a wrong. Look for a religion of love and not fear; you evidently do not need the fear of hell to motivate you to love God.

God is love, but thats not all. He is also just. Sins hurt others, and that has to be punished. If you claim God is ONLY love you havent got the bibical fact straight.
To you death is the end, to God its just the next step in eternity. If you see it from his perspective, death is the way out of this troubled world. Until that time comes, you have the chance to choose weather you wanne fight him or be part of him. God wont allow unwilling people to mess up heaven too.
Everyone dies, God decided on that. Weather or not its through war. But that has nothing to do with being just. God will take everything that happened in a life in account for his judging. Also if that life was cut off by others before its time. Because He is also all knowing. (another facet of God... that you think is only love)
(By the way, heaven is not the place we will be... he will create a new world for his children... just a correction)

Hey Trevor Don't blame God for the silly s--- People do to each other. Thats like me blaiming you for something that someone else does.
No one goes to hell.
This idea assumes a God so inept that He can't even organize a simple educational field excursion and get all of the students’ back home safely.
I assure you that in spite of the rumors being circulated by organized religion God is not inept at all.
She has everything under control and fully intends to make certain that everyone will make it safely back home to her loving embrace.
She even intends to allow those of little faith in Her abilities as a competent creator who have been spreading the lies about Her back in too.
You have my word on it. Love and blessings

A ton of other people have asked this question on this site....but i always answer in the same way. God gave people free will. God does not cause killing, God does not murder. It is people who kill and maim and torture. God has a reason for everything, and something good comes out of every negative that happens.

Okay, here is what the Christy-ins will tell you. God is cool and loves us but gave us free will to fuckup, but also sent his son down here to make ammends, and "connect" us with Gods fruity goodness. But, aren't these people making God out to be dumber than God is? I mean, if you were all powerful like you said, why would you need to transform into a human, or have a human son, send him here to be killed by all of us, just to improve our connection? Seems like if you were all powerful, you could find a way to do the same thing without wasting a son. But most religious people don't get their ideas about God, from God. They get them from a well dressed man in the front of their church, who amazingly enough needs money to do Gods work. God has problems with money.

God is love. He doesn't kill innocent people either. but God is also holy, and if you die without being cleansed of your sin He has to send you to Hell. God loves everyone that's why He died a horrible death, because He loves you. God gave everyone a free-will which means that you can choose what you do with your life. you can choose to murder someone. or help someone. God doesn't want innocent people to die, He cares about them, the question is "do you?"

Yes, God kills people. But God takes no delight in the death of wicked people. His desire is that everyone would be saved and come to know Him. However, some people are stubborn and refuse to come to God. He is very patient for them to come....that is why he sent Jesus. So that all people could have life through trusting in Him. It is that easy, the door is wide open. You don't have to follow any religious codes, dress a certain way, comb your hair a certain way, come from a certain religious background. Anyone, upon accepting God's provision of life can enjoy eternal life.
Will you reject His provision too?

You shouldn't look at it in the human sense of the act but rather from another sense of it. God's taking of a human life isn't 'killing' the person, because that is essentially a human act; God is, instead, sort of transporting the person from this short life on Earth to the infinite life in Heaven.
Also, God's taking of a person's life isn't for his sake, but for something else I'm sure (maybe it was that person's time to go to the next life, in God's plan).

God is not a murderer... humans see death as something bad but is not.. cause it doesn't mean that life is over it means that you are going to live a better or worse it depends on what your actions on earth were... How can nice people live in heaven with people that harm them and may do bad stuffs to them.... If people burn in hell it was what they decided to do... no one told them... they make their own future.. God instead is too nice because he give them a change... cause if humans say sorry to him with hearth to heaven they'll go... He actually cry for them... those people never love God and they actually hate God but he still love them.. no matter what he still cry for them.. If you are a parent.. is hard for parents to let their child go.. and see them suffer

I think we are in hell right now. a spirt cant feel pain and suffering. we are here for a certian purpose, whatever that is, and when it is done we die. whether we have to learn something or teach someone else something including pain and anguish. we will all be in heaven one day. we just have to play this silly little game called fate. god does not murder. we do, he just allows it to happen. nothing can be done about that. i dont even know if it is god. just something. i think life is like a movie film we just live one frame at a time. what will happen will. nothing can be done about that. just waiting.
