I'm 28 years old and I work with this girl who is 20? I think that I really like her, but I'm scared to ask her out because if I got denied it would really destroy any confidence that I have. I usually ask her what she is doing after work and she usually tells me that she has plans. I did take her out to dinner after work once. How can I tell if she is into me?

Act like you're not all that concerned and just go up to her and ask her if she wants to hang out some time. Don't even ask her on a date yet, just as friends if it will help you.

Also, you're 28 years old. You really need to get some confidence by now instead of acting like you're 14. Women do not define you, so just enjoy being who you are. If you are concerned with getting laid, just go find one of those "Asian Massage" places and ask for a happy ending. Then you should be relaxed enough to go get your girl.

Ok, so maybe the massage idea is not that great but seriously, don't act like the guy in "The 40 year old virgin" because that's pointless and lame.

She probably already knows and she is telling you that she has plans for a reason ... Dude, you are 28 yo the last thing you need is to have you esteem broke over some 20 yo child.

Bro, Girls are smart... and if she is telling you that she has plans everytime you ask her what she is gdoing after work, is probably because she does not want anythign with you...

However, you could ask her a more direct question like.. what is she doing this weekend, and if she says that she dont know yet.. then ask her if you would like to hand out... you can take it from there

ok...here is what you do. Put the tips of your tumbs together. Now touch the tips of your index fingers together at the same time. Now push your hands toward each other while keeping your fingertips touching. OK, stop being one of those. If you get rejected then so what? Move on and find someone who appreciates you.

Well have you tried the straight approach? If you don't want to do that ask her to go to lunch with you, its not a date and you get to spend time with her and find out if you do like her or not. If you do like her, tell her and let the chips fall where they may.

Just put a potato in your pants and casually make sure she sees it. Then when you ask her out you should have no trouble getting her attention.

NOTE: This time make sure you put the potato in the FRONT of your pants, not in back like last time.
