I am proud of the wives...it is a very hard job, to keep a straight happy face for the kids, while worrying everyday wht he is up to..and I guess these days we have to thank Military Husbands as I am sure there are girls in Iraq and their husband home... thank you for all you do for our troops, be true to them..be there for them..I am a veteran and came home to a Dear John letter, thats a break up letter for those who dont know, after a small 3 month deployment from my fiancee..so my last comment would be guys do not hit on military wives, show respect for their husband's devotion to this country

Proud AF wife here currently working on a 6 month deployment with my now 5 year old little girl. This is our second deployment in the 6 years that we have been in and while I know that we are lucky that it has only been two, it is never easy. We are counting down the days till he gets back and we are finally on the downhill slope! Good luck to the rest of you and I hope they all return well, and soon.

Proud wife for 6 years. Between Korea, training and Iraq, we've only spent about 3 together. Our first child will be born while he's on deployment #2.
