A committed relationship can only happen when both people are in agreement and on the same path. It is O.K. and healthy to date other people as long as it is not sexual; that could lead to disease, broken hearts and other complications you don't want. The momentary physical pleasure is not worth the hassle.
Dating is the process in which you get to know someone well enough to decide if you want to be in a committed relationship. If you only just met this person less than 2 months ago, you are jumping in too soon I recommend you wait at least 4 months before you dive into a committed relationship.
Please remember that a committed relationship does not include sex, that is for married people and people promised to each other (if you are not allowed to be legally married) as "old fashioned" as it sounds. Any man or woman worth your time will respect this about you and you will do the same.
Good luck and remember to keep it fun and light and become friends first, those relationships last longer.

Imo, you shouldn't commit in a relationship until all other options are no longer desirable or even possible. Don't EVER commit to someone you can't imagine spending forever with. If you're not really in love, and don't see the guy as the 'love of your life' you will sooner or later feel trapped in a relationship that is not genuine for you. This doubly applies to the guys who will pressure you to commit and use manipulation to do so.....these are the ones that love you more than you love them. NEVER commit unless it is two way passionate LOVE. Doing so could waste years of your life energy, and leave you jaded and distrustful in future relationships. Also doing this could lead you away from the 'One.' Sounds corny, but it's true!

Girl, no one knows but you. Listen to your heart. Pay attention to the signs to make sure you are both on the same wave length. You'll know when the time is right, "it takes two". If you're in sync it will happen in it's own time. Don't push anything, enjoy your present moments.

You're giving this situation too much thought. Go with your instincts and talk with your partner and everything will work its self out.
