my gf wants to leave our band! she is really hot but shy and does not like the attention! but i dont feel right about this when my gf aint playin other girls flirt and do stuff,,,,,what do i do?

ok this is a musician of 15 years talking. it was a HUGE mistake letting your girlfriend in on your rock and roll dreams. didn't you learn from fleetwood mac. that band had two relationships go to S**T. big soap opera. thankfully the best album of there careers came out of the turmoil (by the way it was RUMOURS) check it out. the fact that she is hot means nothing. if she is hot and can carry herself on stage that means somthing. tell her how talented she could be on her own. if she can't make it alone, she'll come back. email me if this goes over your head

She is right to do what's right for her. If you care for her, you should support her decision. Controlling her whereabouts isn't how you keep a relationship going. If you show you're looking out for HER best interest and not your own, that's a real sign of love. Now I'm not saying to be a doormat or codependent etc., but to not be controlling because you're afraid.

well it is her decision, only cause girls flirt with you and all does not mean that you have to pay attention to them.. let it go and do not worry about it... maybe she will change her mind....good luck...i use to live with a band singer and he fathered one of my children and i would not ever date a person in a band again..they do seem to get a lot of attention

if you really like/love and respect her, you won't pay attention to those other girls. if she wants to go, let her go. if you convince her to stay, it might be against her will and won't perform to the best of her ability anyway. so maybe this is best for the whole band.

so what if they flirt. as long as you keep your distance and keep hands, lips, and other body parts to yourself then there shouldnt be a problem...
now if you dont think you can do that, then you have a bigger problem...
