If you think you're going to heaven, you're really going to hell if the bible tranlators screwed up.
Dont be surprised to get surprised when you die

Hi atheist,
I am wondering why, if you don't believe in God or in the Bible, would you ask a biblical question? Is it to make fun of believers?
Anyways, I hope you are sincere in your question. If so, here is my sincere answer.
(1) The word hell has two meanings: (a) the common grave, and (b) a symbol of destruction.
(2) When a person dies, he has no consciousness at all. So, how can an unconscious being be tortured, or feel happy? ( Read Ecc 9:5; Isaiah 38:18,etc)
Based on the above, yes I--including you--will go to hell ( the common graveyard).
But, having said this, the Almighty God will decide on who will be resurrected again. Have you read the numerous accounts of the resurrection in the Bible? Not one of them occurred in heaven. So, that means those who will be resurrected will be resurrected on a paradise earth. Just as Jesus promised the thief: he will be with him in paradise.
How does this appeal to your logical mind?

haha! sweet. i hope they screwed it up. that would be amazing (im a christian). i'd have my harp out and all, just waiting for this big peaceful cloud/palace, and instead im tossed into a big fiery pit with all these other christians going "what the hell?"(and answering their own question in saying that). Im not sure i'd really like it if it happened, but the thought of it is amusing.

Well Hell did not exist before Dante and the Divine Comedy.
And the rest is just a fairy tale.
