Highlighter, flash cards made from index cards (get the colored ones..helps motivate you more!) and a study partner who is serious about studying helps. Study someplace where you won't get distracted like the library or you can do it in your bedroom but no music or tv. Set aside time each day to study, even if you don't have homework. Review what was done in class. Go back over problems you have done in class.

Your local library will have reference books which are about GED study tips. I'll warn you, they're huge, but helpful.
