I have dry and split ends in my hair. Is Pantene better or Gardeners(?) ? whats the best shampoo?

Dove has good shampoos and conditioners, I agree, but only one thing will cure your split ends: a good stylist. Split ends do not "repair" themselves, they have to be cut off. A good trim as often as your stylist recommends, along with a moisturizing conditioner on the ends, if that's what you need, and a protective product if you heat style, will keep your hair "looking" soft and healthy. Don't put off going to see your stylist if you want your hair to look it's best. If you don't have a regular stylist, look for someone that will not only talk to you about how to care for your hair, but someone that will LISTEN to what you have to say about your hair.

What is Gardeners? Never heard of it. I don't like Pantene...Dove is one of the better types, but if you spend a little bit more...Bath and Body Works Shampoo (whichever is best for your hair--probably the dry) is awesome.

Pantene, Garnier and Dove all cost less because they perform less. You need a SALON shampoo. Try Oatmeal and Honey Treatment Shampoo by Catwalk or Awapuhi Shampoo by Paul Mitchell.

Don't use Pantene. It coats your hair in wax, which is why it makes hair shiny. I am assuming you mean Garnier, as in Fructis. I use that, and love the results I get.
