I was just wondering if its true... when a woman approaches a man that she knows and hits him in the arm for no reason and carries on a conversation does that mean she likes him.

Depends. I, myself can be rather hostile at times, but most of the time if I did that it would be flirting or because the guy is my pal.

sometimes is to make a guy they really like jealous so they can get him back, but is not always. If its that, it can happen mostly at the mall or the movies ;)
