Oops! Now YOU'RE boycotting him. Hating the hater.......stay and teach. The only time I leave in that situation is if I have planned a big media coup, or if I truly fear for my life and soul.

WOW.... I am thankful that I've never been faced with that situation (though admittedly I've encountered my fair share of ignorant ministers).
You are right that Muslims are not all hateful terrorists. Most are very productive members of the society. Despite what we may believe based on the acts of a few extremeists, Islam is actually a religion of peace and unity. There are muslims (just like there are some Christians) who take what is written in their holy book out of context.
As for this poor misguided preacher, my hope is that God will impress upon him to remember he should act Christ-like. Jesus never bashed people for not believing in him. He always gave people a choice: follow or not. And the Bible even told us that there were some who originally wanted to follow, but changed their mind... we don't find Jesus running after them to beat them back into submission...
Understand that preachers are people, just like everyone else. We are not perfect... though I will admit that God hold us to a higher standard. Still, he is human and subject to human mistakes and this blatant display of ignorance and prejudice is a SERIOUS mistake. Pray for him.

Some people have such petty little minds. Seems like you have a preacher in your area with one. The really sad thing is that he does not realize he is preaching the same hate he is rallying against. I wonder if the Baptists have a central organization he could be reported to?

Not wanting a mosque isn't hate. It's pretty ignorant for him to assume that the islams there are hate preachers (but it is a possibility) but that doesn't mean he is being hateful.

Thats not showing hate at all. Not sure if you know the bible at all or not, but do you remember when Jesus threw the money changers out of church. He had some choice words for them. Jesus did not allow sin to creep in on His watch. I agree 100% with that preacher I would speak out if that came to my community, and yes I would attend his church.

These are the kind of events that create radicals. I would never go to any church, but I was compelled to answer this question. The christian faith has preached hate and non-acceptance for thousands of years, along with many other religions. HELLO CRUSADES.

I, personally, even if I was a Christian, would not attend services at his Church. He should be teaching tolerance and love, not hatred and seperation. It is extremely hypocritcal, and is giving a bad name to Christians all over the world. It is very sad. I assume this is in the South, where this is to be expected. They tend to be very narrow minded, though not all. It truly is a shame.

Your right. Just because he's a preacher doesn't mean he should be blindly followed. People need to think for themselves - like you just did. I hate people that have no tolerance for others. Such hipocrasy.
