i actually recently learned why water works to lose weight. your liver is the organ that breaks down stored fat... your liver ALSO is the back up to your kidneys. When you are not drinking enough water, your kidneys can not function properly, so your liver then must help it and work to keep the blood and liquids moving through your body... thus the liver can not perform the fat breaking down function, b/c it must concentrate on the vital function first. SO, when you are helping your kidneys and supplying them with the water they require(about 72 oz a day for normal people), the liver can easily function to do its job, and utilize the excess fat.

It helps with toxins, but flushing fat that's not true. Drink 8 cups of water a day (half a gallon) it will balance out your water level, which is good for losing weight. Also you can replace food with water when your hungry.

Water helps in feeling full and eating less. Fat shows up in the urine as foam. Toxins need niacin, silica to be excreted by the kidneys.

Yes, and you should be drinking at least eight 8oz glasses of water a day. Or take your weight divide in in half, and that's how many ounces of water you should be drinking a day Minimum.

Water will help eliminate metabolic wastes from your body. Only if you have advanced kidney disease will you have any lipids in your urine. It probably can help in weight loss because if you are drinking water you are not eating caloric foods, and if it is cold water your body will expend energy to warm it.
