Does anyone know the direction to Chongno Sauna in Seoul. Or any other gay sauna you might recommend.

the above posters are goofballs -- it is common knowledge that you can meet gay guys at Pagoda Park after the old men go home. Sorry tho -- never heard of a gay sauna -- is it a meeting place or are they prostitutes?

I think you may need to check out your facts on the gay sauna in Korea. Korea is not very open or accepting with gay people. I find it very hard to believe there is a gay sauna. You may have heard some misinformation. Saunas are local family gathering places and are segregated by gender the men and women too wash each other and shampoo each others hair all nude but there is NEVER any sexual intentions with this if you are a foriegner here in Korea I highly advise you make 150% sure you are at a gay sauna (which I think will not be the case) before you attempt to even communicate you are gay and looking for a date. If you do not speak Korean I absolutly advise you to find a bilingual confidant who can help you with your issue.

I'm going to have to agree 100% with 'mk' - Since gay culture is so "in the closet" in Korea (I've had Koreans tell me there are no gay Koreans- straightfaced) you're best bet is to go to the foreigner district ( Itaewon ) and find a gay club. People in there will be able to tell you all the gay sauna hotspots, if any. If there any, they're probably in Itaewon, anyways, because that's where the gays (foreign and Korean) congregate to avoid the eyes of Koreans.
