Doing the right thing will get you to right place on your journey through life. Go with your intuitive heart, your mind's eye. Do the right thing for yourself, but don't be selfish in a way that will hurt others purposely unless you are protecting yourself from a physical threat. Karma is the way to go. Do good and you will receive good, whatever your religion may be. Do bad and you'll get it back righteously threefold. There is enough room on this planet and in this universe for many Gods and many heavens and many versions of the "Golden Rule." I say, that, yes, most likely you will get to some kind of heaven or nirvana eventually. You may not get there during this lifetime, but that's all part of the journey. Good luck. Love & Light.

The only thing that will get you into heaven is by excepting Jesus Christ as your savior and accepting Gods word-
It simply starts with a prayer by asking Jesus to come in your life and then let God guide you into a life of living for him-
Only through Jesus can you live a full life here on earth and an eternal life in heaven-
Good deads will not get you into heaven unless you do the above!
Don't be deceived by other religions or just being good.It must be by accepting Jesus who died on the cross for you-

Imagine at death, your thought is silenced.
Just for a moment.
Then whispered into your ear is the truth. The true answers to everything. What it is like to be this person or that person. What did this action do and that action cause. How did I affect the world, others, myself, ect...
So, Now that your all knowing,
and remember; right now you are not,
you are left there to float in your mind (like in a dream-state) for eternity.
Will it be a nightmare or a dream come true?
By heaven,
I understand you to be speaking of Christianity.
So...
God=Love
Jesus represents Forgiveness
Holy Spirit=Guides the soul
So the only way to eternal Love (happiness)
is through forgiveness and by guiding others to Love.

I believe that as long as you live your life to the best of your ability and always try to do what you consider to be the "right thing", you have an excellent chance of getting into heaven.

NO, because you have not and will not always do the right thing. Belief and faith in Jesus is what will get you to heaven.

if the right thing is excepting Jesus Christ into your life and living for Him yes the right thing will but no you can't earn your way into heaven it is not by works that you get to go it is by asking for forgiveness of sins and excepting him in your heart and then living for Him .!!!!!!!!!!!! take care

Good start. Accept Jesus as your Saviour and read your bible to see what He wants you to do. Can't get there by works but if you are saved, you will have works.

It's not in what you do -- it's in who you are. Anyone can do "the right thing" but it doesn't mean they have a pure heart.
