Sorry punch bowl and ladel are a bad idea at a wedding, go to the expense of a champange fountain. It is a small amount to rent and less mess to deal with, plus looks a whole lot better.

No. Trying to use the punch ladle to get the stuff into those narrow champagn flutes will make a god-awful mess. Champagne punch (like Mimosa) is traditionally served from a pitcher. The pitcher may rest in a shallow bowl of ice.

While punch in champagne glasses might look pretty, you will quickly discover that filling the narrow flute-shaped glasses from your standard punch bowl ladle is a sloppy pain in the patoot.
If you must use stemware, go for something with a wider mouth, which will make filling the glasses easier.
So, no. Using champagne glasses for punch would be a bad idea.

I agree with Latina...champagne glasses are for champagne only. You can do whatever you want, we're just saying it's not that classy to serve punch in them at a wedding.

only use the champagne glasses for the bride and groom, not the wedding party and the guests. Also, only do this if the punch contains champagne as an ingredient.

sure why not?? u know what the best punch is? raspberry sherbert with sprite LOL or any kind of sherbert actually try it its great!!! just get 2 liters and some box of the ice cream and put em in a bowl it will melt itself down to make a delicious drink :)
