Today i found the product on target's shelf. i brought 2 bottles to the cashier. she rang them up and it came up "recalled do not sell". the cashier did not know why

Brilliant brunette starlit wave by John Frieda is being recalled because it is contaminated with Pseudomonas which is a community-acquired skin infection that results from the bacterial colonization of hair follicles after exposure to contained, contaminated water. The company recalled it voluntarily and apparently it isn't that serious...but if you look up pseudomonas you might get a little freaked out. Hope that helped...

Because John Frieda sucks. If you are able to buy a shampoo or hair product from any grocery store, it's not worth it.
