Generally, chalk is just made up of calcium, the white stuff would be like him eating a Tums.
I'd check the box though to make sure.

My dog eats my daughter's sidewalk chalk all the time and she's fine.

If it's white chalk, it's probably calcium and good for him. I don't know what goes into the colored chalk, though.

Although you wouldn't want him to eat it, but if he gets a little it most likely won't hurt him. If you look at the ingredients, everything is kid safe.

no it will not harm your dog it is non-toxic it won't harm kids
