before you say it- I've tried eating properly and exercising- it's very difficult to lose weight with an under active thyriod- any suggestions>

Firstly, you need to be treated by an endocrinologist. I have thyroid issues as well, and the only way to normalize it is to be on meds or if its completely toxic, sometimes it is surgically removed. When your thyroid levels stabilize, you will be able to lose weight. It just takes a while so don't lose heart.

Generally, a thyriod problem cannot be treated, but it can be stabalized with medication. One pill per day...depending on the body and it's level. Losing weight can be a challenage with this kind of a diease but if there's a will there is a way...remember that. Nothing is impossible! Start by walking and slowing increasing the amount of exercise. Do not force your body excessive or you'll probably feel out of breath or pain in the leg muscles. Remember to change your lifestyle because that's what you take depends on what goes on the inside of your body.
