Well, back in the day, you were either a Jew or a Gentile, then Jesus came along and a few of each of those two groups became Christians. Non-Christian Gentiles became known as Pagans. But Muhammad came sometime after that and created the faith of Islam, and the Pagans in Arab nations became Muslims. Sometime after that the crusades happened when the Christians took it upon themselves to convert all the Muslims to Christianity, when all the while they'd been burning Pagans at the stake as "Witches" or "Heretics." Sometime during the Renaissance, Atheism was created and as a byproduct of Atheism, Agnosticism. This, of course only accounts for the western world. There's also Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Shintoists, Taoist, and the list goes on, and on, and on....
But to answer your question, I think the only acceptable term is non-Christian.

They could be called many things. Any religion that's not Christian does not believe Christ is the son of God (although some acknowledge that he existed as a human, just as a great prophet as opposed to the Savior). In that regard, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, Agnostics, and a host of other religions don't believe in Christ.

Non-believers.
Not believing in Christ does not make you an Athiest. You could simply not believe anything, or you could be Jewish, perhaps Agnostic. Too many people seem to think that if they deny God and/or Christ they are "Athiests". That simply is not the case. Most people calling themselves Athiest do not even know what they are claiming to be.

"Realists"
There is rather a lot of evidence that "Christ" is a composite character based on a number of charismatics that were working around 2000 years ago to try and get gentiles to "tithe" 10% of their earning to the "church", just like the Jews were doing. That doesn't mean the "teaching of Christ" are any less valid today than the morals contained in another book contemporary with the Bible, "Aesop's Fables".
Look it up yourself. I wouldn't make something like that up.

To all of you who say atheists, I say this.
YOUR WRONG
They just simply do not believe in YOUR god. That does not make them atheist....Personally I would call them intelligent people. Considering being the follower of a religion involves me worshipping an invisible man.
