Duran would win because of his tremendous counter punching and ring saavy. It would be a good fight with Duran winning a close decision.

I"ll pick De La Hoya by split decision, De La Hoya is way too fast for Duran, yes Duran has more power, but power is nothing if your hands aren't able to connect any shots at all , I dont think De La Hoya would knock Duran out though , but He"ll outboxed Duran , simply because of his speed. take it from me I used to be a boxer myself.I would of love to see this great fighters in the ring what a fight it that would be.

No Mas part 2?
Only if Trinidad knocked Duran out first!
De La Hoyas 2 biggest wins can after Tito Ruined the fighters first!
Mayorga and Vargas were both never the same!
I would like to see it though!

Duran, because De La Hoya has no heart and no desire to get hit. Sure Duran said "No mas!", but that's becuase Leonard kept peddling around him and frustrated him. How could he continue if Leonard clearly didn't want to fight?
De La Hoya has been a disappointment to me. He had the opportunity to truly become one of boxing's all-time greats, instead he gave into the all mighty dollar-good for him, bad for us boxing fans.
Duran, in his prime, in the lightweight division was unstoppable. He was unbeatable and he'd do us all a favor and pummel De La Hoya half to death.
Duran in a knockout in the 9th round. Hands down it would be Hands of Stone.

If it was at light or welter, I'd put my money on Duran in a grueling punch-fest.
Oscar's quicker, sure, but Duran had that herky-jerky defense which made him hard to hit. Plus, Duran was a good counter-puncher.
Oscar would outbox him for a few rounds, but Duran would wear him down, work his body, take his strength from him; and with his hands of stone, probably TKO Oscar.

De la Hoya, because he has more money and this is what it counts in boxing, all fights are staged.
