how the heck did that happen? poor doggy. he won't know which way the wind is blowing... jk, actually whiskers kinda give them a since of feel for things around their snouts/noses... but he/she will be just fine. some show dogs get their whiskers shaven, so i imagine they will grow back.

I believe dogs have whiskers for the same reason as cats..so they know when they can't fit through a gap. I doubt your dog will come to any harm regarding small gaps.

They'll just grow back, if your dog has Burns to the tissue or acts like he/she is in discomfort, then see your vet. Now a cat, that's a different story.
