Because honestly, ADHD does exist.. and many parents themselves have ADHD. There are in fact real tests to see if your child has ADHD, and criteria to meet before medication is initiated.

While some kids are spoiled and ignored, some actually DO have ADHD. My son has it as a sympton of bi-polar disorder. I was not crazy about medicating him but the alternative was for him to be miserable. Imagine what it's like to constantly be in trouble for behaviors you cannot control. And they really can't control this behavior without the medications and behavior modification therapy. My son is a much calmer person and a better student now. As a result he is also much happier.
Also, some food additives can cause ADHD type behaviors in children. For example, red food dye.

They dont admit it, because they dont realize they are victims of the media-pharmaceutical alliance designed to sell drugs and invent as many illnesses as it can, so that people can live in an atmosphere of fear and check themselves for symptoms and be profitable lambs for the corporate wolves. or maybe tparents do realize it, but want to drug their kids anyways so that they get their peace and quiet

Parents are to busy to spend time with there kids so they just drug them
