Should he really stand beside her, and guide her through the night with the light from above? From the mountains, to the praries, to the ocean white with foam?

God has blessed every country whether there are evil doers there or not. America is no exception.

I fear that the days of God's blessing upon America, and for that matter, the entire earth, may be coming to an end soon. Just look at all the war, hatred, greed, materialism, immorality, etc. all around us. The Bible speaks of the wrath of God being poured out upon the earth. It wouldn't surprise me the least bit if those days were coming very soon now.

Why not? As imperfect individuals we commonly ask God to bless us in our lives. I see no reason why a similar blessing can't be asked for an imperfect nation. The decisions that America makes in the world affect a lot of people, so I think God's blessing should be welcome.

Look at all the blessings he has given us! fertile soil, good crops, sufficient water, relative security from invasions for the past couple hundred years... Don't you think God HAS blessed America? Not that we earned any of it. And I don't think we will necessarily retain these blessings much longer, if we keep ignoring and insulting Him.

I dont think so, I mean, if you were GOD, would you bless a nation that took you out of school, made it immoral to be spoken about, took the Bible out of best seller counts, and is trying to take your name out of the pledge of alliegeance?
And also, america isn't blessing GOD

because there are still good people in America. There are still people that didn't want to have anything to do with Bushs' adminstrations' goals to "dominate" the world. To not bless America is to damn the people that believe in him.
