there may be more than one,how can i free these poor souls. i would love to know who they are and why they have attatced themselves to me.

If it is not a figment of your imagniation, and you are really communicating with spirits, try to think of when this started happening. If this has been going on since you have been in the house, then look for any items that may have been left behind by previous owners. If you own anything that deals with spiritism or something that someone else may have used for these purposes, or anything you bought second hand, consider these as possible mediums that demons, not ghosts, are using to bother you. Get rid of anything suspicious looking or that just gives you a bad gut feeling. Usually your gut can be trusted. After that, please, read the Bible and try to stay away from spiritism.

Based on my knowledge and experience, I think it's very unlikely it is a spirit. Spirits are souls that *have* moved on, and they are generally very subtle about letting their presence known to the living.
Do a little research on previous occupants, if any. This can help you if you want to help them move on, like through EVP. Sometimes it's as simple as a strong verbal statement that they are dead now (if it is a "ghost"). But unless you know what you're doing, it's not a good idea to upset the balance, so do as much research as possible or talk with paranormal experts before EVER trying any deliberate contact!***
No offense, but I don't think telling them off in the name of Jesus will work. I think it's more than a little presumptuous. I mean, what if these people didn't even share the same beliefs when they were alive? It may not even be a ghost, but a way to tell is if they interact with you or vice versa? If not, it could be an imprint of what happened in the house in the past, so helping them move on is pretty much useless.
I hope you can help them if they are lost, but remember that sometimes they need to do it on their own.

These are not spirits of people and they are not poor souls. If they are following you there is a real and resent danger. I have to ask, do you know Jesus as your Savior, if not this is were the danger comes in. Spirits are real and they will attach themselves to willing people. They can and do from time to time make themselves known. They are not afraid of you. Without the protection of the Holy Spirit, you are fair game to them, and they will take advantage of that. It is not something to play with or think that you can control it, you can't. Been there done that, it is a very dangerous game and one that you can't handle on your own.
Read the book of Acts and you will see that they followed many in the early church and knew who they were. They fear the name of Jesus and They can't stand in the presence of one that is truly faithful to Christ. My wife learned this not to long ago when my youngest was being attacked. He could see them and they would not let him sleep. My wife went through the house reading Palms 91 and marking each door way with oil. She saw the lower part of the torso stand at my son door and she realized that he could no long enter the room. She Laugh at it and demanded it to leave in Jesus' Name and it was gone. My son no longer has problems sleeping anymore.
These spirits are real and they will follow you. They are not something to play with. I have messed in the acult before and have seen just what they can do. They can take up in a home, a place or a person. There is a real danger and you should take it lightly.

They follow you because they exist in your mind. Belief in ghosts and such is self reinforcing; once you believe, you begin to attribute otherwise ordinary events to them, thus reinforcing the belief. The only way out is to thoroughly investigate everything you would otherwise attribute to ghosts from the position that it's ordinary, and look until you figure it out.
If things are happening like you turn the lights off in a room and come back 30 seconds later and they're on again, you may be suffering short term memory loss and should seek professional medical help.

If you aren't having any negative experiences with them, then they may never go away. They may be watching over you. Maybe a loved one who passed away a long time ago. If you want it to go away, you will need to bless your home and in the name of Jesus ordered them to go away.

I've had a problem with this in the past. I don't know your situation , but I went in the room where I knew they were and told them that they were scaring my family and weren't welcome here. I am a religous person so I was able to use Jesus' name with authority. Haven't had a problem since.

They will go away after you seek medical attention and get the meds you need so that you stop believing there are ghosts in your house.

you should fight them away. They are similar to a succubus and will eat your soul. you better watch out. one day you might wake up and be a competely different person.

Don't talk to them. The most you can do is say to them, "Leave me be in the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the Father".
