Gelato is fantastic! It's pretty similar to ice cream really, but not as creamy or hard. I like both, but for different reasons. Ice cream is one of those great treats to have at home - some vanilla ice cream served with cake or apple pie or something similar. Gelato is fantastic to have out -- this place in Sydney makes THE BEST pistachio gelato in the entire world. I'm convinced of it. If I had to choose one to have for the rest of my life, I would give ice cream a miss and take the pistachio gelato. Mmmmm ....

I've heard of and tasted gelato; it's wonderful. I'm not sure if I have a preference of one over the other. If I'm in the mood for something lighter on a hot day, definitely gelato because it's so refreshing and more natural. If I'm chilling on the couch with some of my friends or upset about something, ice cream is where it's at. Something about the thicker consistency makes it susceptible to being comfort food. Gelato, I find, makes for a better fruit flavored refreshment while ice cream is definitely the monopoly in chocolate or cookie flavored.

Though gelato is more gourmet, I still prefer ice-cream over gelato. Gelato is too smooth for me, makes it feel too liquid-like even though it's not. Plus, gelato is a lot more fattening than ice-cream! Guess it's all just a personal preference though! Some love it, some don't.

Gelato is Italy’s version of ice cream, with 3 important variations. First, gelato has notably much less butterfat than ice cream's organic 18 and 26 proportion. checks performed with the aid of Delaware’s branch of Agriculture confirmed Caffé Gelato’s vanilla and chocolate gelato the two have under 10 proportion butterfat. despite if, much less fat does now no longer mean much less flavor. With the decrease butterfat content textile, gelato is way less solidly frozen than ice cream and melts in the mouth speedier.subsequently, the client will style gelato’s complete flavor immediately 2nd, gelato has a much extra desirable density than ice cream. Ice cream is produced with the aid of employing mixing cream, milk and sugar, then including air. manufacturers upload air to ice cream on account that it just about doubles the quantity of their product. in spite of the shown fact that, it cuts their superb in 0.5. No air is proficient to gelato. the outcomes is a bigger ultimate dessert with a richer, creamier flavor

i prefer gelato. Its a lot more creamy than icecream, and the flavors seem to come out better for some reason.
Its sometimes hard to find too, which makes it that much better when you can!
