Fiber one cereal is really good,if you are willing to give up your taste buds :-) it's like eating cardboard, but it does the trick. Um.. the same company also makes a fiber one bar that is really good, I personally like the chocolate and oats one. Other foods you can do are whole wheat breads, brown rice, etc. Split pea soup is also a good source of fiber and low in fat. If there is a Trader Joes in your area (Local grocery store), there is a lychee dried fruit snack packed with LOTS of fiber as well, and really tasty. Despite what you may think, corn isn't really that great for fiber. raw veggies work wonders too.

Go for the fruit and vegetables. These are very high in fiber and taste good. Of course anything wheat is good. Try eating oatmeal as well.

If you need a fiber boost, my personal favorite is Fiber One cereal. One serving gives you over 50% of your daily requirement! If you're like me and you don't measure your cereal, just pour it in, you're probably going to wind up getting almost 100% of your needs just from the cereal. And while most high fiber cereals taste like cardboard, this is pretty tolerable.
I had been going to the doctor with some intestinal problems and he said more fiber is what I needed, and I started doing this, and within 2 months everything was hunky dory.

Fruits - Canned Prunes - 1 cup - 13.76 grams of fiber
Beans - Black-eyed Peas - 1/2 cup - 8.21 grams
Breads - Bran Bread - 1 slice - 2.66 grams
Cereal - Bran - 1 oz - 8.72 grams
Nuts - Roasted Almonds - 1/2 cup - 7.95 grams
Nuts - Roasted Peanuts - 1/2 cup - 6.34 grams (my fav!!)
Looks like you could probably whip up a fiber filled breakfast or brunch snack easily with some of these.

Fibre is mainly found in wheat and grain. If ur diet is lacking dietary fibre, i suggest to eat a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats at least 3 days a week. Also start taking up drinking 'Metamucel' found in the health ilse in ur local grocery store.
I myself lack fibre in my diet, how i dont know because im a very healthy person. They say everyone has sumthing and i guess thats mine. So if ur the same then go for the mini wheats 3 times a week and drinking a glass of metamucel everyday. Works great for me.

You can't go past vegetables and fruit -- and lots of them!
I love veggies and fruit and they're really good for you. I do my best to get 5 serves of vegetables and at least 3 fruit each day -- not only are they good for you but they fill you up so you're not tempted to fill up on junk, making them even better for you!
Also, high bran cereals and wholemeal bread are great sources of fibre.

I strongly recommend dry fruits like dates have rich fibre content. This can be best confirmed by its removal of constipation.
