Absolutely not! Motor Vehicle Dept. has entered the digital age and driver's records are easily accesible.

Nope. You will need a birth certificate or some picture id to even apply, and when they find out your CA license is suspended they won't issue you a TX one until to pay off whatever fines there are in CA. Fix it before you move then you can get a TX license w/o testing by turning in the CA license.

What drivers license are you planning to use in Texas? Are you thinking that a car rental place in Texas will honor your suspended license and rent you a car?

Not with a suspended driver's license. However you might apply for a new Texas license, taking the tests and all that boring stuff.

Not until you get things cleared up in Calif. They check your records and if you didn't tell the truth they will find out and you will again loose your license. Your kind of SOL right now.

You can try though maybe you can get away with it, but you are taking a chance.

No, you will have to clear up any charges or fines on your California license before any other state will issue you a new license.

Good Luck

Not that I know of. A friend of mine had to take care of some things in another state before they allowed him to get a license for OK

No, you will not be able to obtain another license in any other state until you clear up your driving license in California.

You may be able to get one, but you wont keep it for very long. They go by your SSN number and once the record is pulled and your new address put in you will have the same problem.
Just like a criminal record, your driving record will follow you wherever you will go.

depends on the state, but I think it's very possible. I've heard of people doing it in other states.
