I'm a military re-enactor and I've been looking for a good guide to gear and uniforms for some time.

I know that there are certain online retailers that sell alot of gear, but I'm trying to see what I should buy to be accurate to a modern period.

If you have past IDF experience or just someone who can share some knowledge, I would be very thankful.

Hello My name is LeRae. Do you remember, you answered my question about Criss angel? The "Mind freak guy".
Well, mot to be rude, but Criss is actually a very sweet man.
He has never gotten a tatoo, and trust me, he doesn't plan to! Trust me! I met him and asked him my self. I did an interview with him when I was in Las Vegas with my parents.
If you met him, you would totally change your mind!
Please, go to the official Criss Angel Website at Crissangel.com.
When you get there go to a place marked as the loyal, it's at the top of the page. then go to the loyal forum and scroll down. read the messages. On the first page there is a q&a about Criss getting a tatoo. I am not lying about this. If it's about Criss angel, trust me, I never would.
Please trust me you will change your mind, there is no reason to not like him.

Kach
Kahane Chai

Description

Stated goal is to restore the biblical state of Israel. Kach (founded by radical Israeli-American rabbi Meir Kahane) and its offshoot Kahane Chai, which means "Kahane Lives," (founded by Meir Kahane’s son Binyamin following his father’s assassination in the United States) were declared to be terrorist organizations in March 1994 by the Israeli Cabinet under the 1948 Terrorism Law. This followed the groups’ statements in support of Dr. Baruch Goldstein’s attack in February 1994 on the al-Ibrahimi Mosque— Goldstein was affiliated with Kach—and their verbal attacks on the Israeli Government. Palestinian gunmen killed Binyamin Kahane and his wife in a drive-by shooting in December 2000 in the West Bank.

Activities

The group has organized protests against the Israeli Government. Kach has harassed and threatened Arabs, Palestinians, and Israeli Government officials. Has vowed revenge for the deaths of Binyamin Kahane and his wife. Suspected of involvement in a number of low-level attacks since the start of the al-Aqsa intifadah.

Strength

Unknown.

Location/Area of Operation

Israel and West Bank settlements, particularly Qiryat Arba' in Hebron.

External Aid

Receives support from sympathizers in the United States and Europe.

So you want in this critical period to find resources to outfit yourself as an IDF member? Possibly even contact with an IDF veteran? I'd say cool your jets & wait till there are fewer issues in the region.

I just wanted to thank you for explaining what an IDF was. They can't have an army like every other country?

Oh, and Scot--thanks for sharing.

Absolutely. The IDF are terrorists in uniform. The world now sees them for what they are.
