Youre absolutely right. The fact is, is that republicans would like you to think that illegals are taking jobs from hard working americans. However this is not the case, the illegals are doing jobs that no one else will do. They are literally doing back-breaking jobs.

I think it would be a great idea if the Mexican government would give the people of their country the jobs they need so they could support their families but that doesn't seem to be the case and immigrants cross the border to come here to make the money they need to support their families. Now while we know that this is illegal, what can be done about this? Allow it or send them back? This is a tough question to answer because some are sincerely in need and some want to beat the system. Not every one that comes is honest!
I think that a certain kind of program should be instituted to help these people so they can support their families and the Mexican government and the United States government should join hands to help these people. It can be done but politics get in the way!

Illegal immigration is very wrong. American citizens must pay taxes and are subject to the rules and regulations of the national government. Illegal immigrants are invisible to the government. They work off of other people's SS numbers, and do not have to pay taxes. Moreover, millions of people have gone through the naturalization process, so why can't the Mexicans? Are they seemingly too good? Not exactly. They are cheating the system that it took natural (and naturalized) citizens hundreds of years to create. Yes, they need money, but there are rules that people must follow so that the integrity of our country remains, somewhat, intact.

The answer is right in question. It is wrong because it is illegal. Also, as much as illegal immigrants contribute to the economy, they take more away because they do not pay income taxes. They cannot unless they become a citizen or come here legally and obtain a social security number.

Well, it starts with that first word, 'illegal'. It means you're breaking the law of the united states by even being in our country.
Everything that follows after that is another paving stone on the road to hell on this issue.
Mexicans need to start moving home, and reshaping their OWN country. If you're a mexican citizen, then go fix your 'bad' IN Mexico. Don't expect the United States to just bend and cave to your wishes, the taxpayers and citizens OF our country in increasing majority are asking their cities/states to do something on this issue, and it's years overdue.
Mexico has enough resources to sustain it's own population. It's time for their citizens to stop abusing our legal system, our social system, healthcare system, etc etc etc., and go home and fix their own problems. Stop trying to force your views and your way of life on americans. Deal with your own problems, your own crime, all of it, then you'll have a great country you'll be proud to call home. Build more schools, build more factories, create more jobs, and stop expecting 'america' to bail you out. Mexico can be a successful independent nation in their own right, without ANY help from the United States. So, get about it! Thanks!

It is illegal because they do not follow the law, the law says that you must have legal documents to work and live in the USA. It is illegal because they are stealing, yes they work but they do not pay taxes, which means the legal residents have to pay enough to cover what the mexicans are not paying. That is taking money out of my pocket, your pocket and everyone else that lives here legally.

I love when kids answer these questions. It's so reflective of the ignorance of the people that we are trying to keep out.
First you show total disrespect for our laws by sneaking across the border then cry for your rights when we tell you to leave?
You have no rights.
All you people are doing is selling yourselves into voluntary slavery. Sure why should we get our hands dirty if morons are willing to do it for pennies on the dollar. Go into any wal-mart and you will see Hispanics stringing along their 4-8 kids shopping. Keep your damn legs closed. If you can't afford to feed and clothe them don't have them.
Americans are smart about having kids we know how much things cost and limit ourselves to what we can comfortably provide our kids with.

Immigration isn't wrong but illegal immigration is wrong because it is illegal.
I wouldn't want anyone to break into my home and take things that don't belong to them and that I worked so hard for just because they come from a poor neighborhood and it just takes too long to get assistance or get a job and home of their own or they have to go through too much trouble to get these things.

Its not wrong!, just put yourselves in their shoes. Americans don't know what hard work is...even if it is spelled out for them.
If Mexicans or any other Latin American sees the chance to get in tha US make some money...then...WHY NOT!!....
The problem is not only with Mexicans but with the US government. Its not that they cant protect the border....its just that they dont want to....after all...no Latin Americans= No body to do the dirty job!
