Get it to a Vet, because medicines need to be diagnosed even to animals.

We had a dog who had seizures, and even on heavy Phenobaritol and Potassium Bromide, she sill had severe breakthough seizures.

Depending on the dosage, you might have to up the dosage, but just to let you know, while they may slow down the occurrences of seizures, they will not stop them all, and in the long run of having the medications every day, will lead to severe liver damage (cutting the dog's life short by about 3-5 years).

I think the highest dosage our dog was on was about 150mg?

We ended up putting her to sleep when she was 8. *sniff*

If your dog is having seazures this often, and you know who the breeder is, let them know ASAP. It can be genetic and the breeder could stop those lines from breeding.

Also, a vet visit is a very good idea, but be prepared for the possibility of bad news.

I am so sorry, we had the same problem.
I live in Massachusetts so we had Tuffs School of Veterinary medicine close to us. This is what the Dr's did. They put little GOLD balls into her ears under the skin just at the acu pressure point that controls seizures. That way when She had an all to frequent seizure I could find the pressure points using the GOLD balls under the skin. This acupressure point shortened the duration of the seizure. NOTHING cures them. They do get worse, I am so sorry! I also had her on anti seizure meds.
and eventually they no longer worked, even with the help of acupuncture!

With seizures that often, you need to have a vet prescrib something. Maybe a little trial and error will find the right one for your dog.

Read the Wisconsin weblinks about vaccinations. I have a girl that has seizures periodicly. She does not have epilepsy. She was having 4 seizures per year, now she has only 2 per year. I stopped all her vaccinations 3 1/2 yrs ago. That is what made the difference for her.
