I asked this question a while back. I have again heard that Sagemont Church in Houston has initiated a "special seating" policy that allows (restricts) the front few rows to be dedicated to those who give substantial tithes and/or donations. Can anyone give me any documentation that verifies this?

No, but it is nothing new.

This used to be called 'pew rental.' If you go to historic early American churches, you can see plaques designating who the pew belonged to....this is different than donating the cash to put in the pew. It was an annual fee reserving a specific pew.
