I would consider two options. First it sounds more like a health problem rather than mental. It sounds like a circulatory problem which may be resolved by either a chiropractor or dietitian or both. There may be vitamin deficiencies, dehydration, or a spinal misalignment. I would investigate other alternatives rather than just a general practitioner. I'm not discounting M.D.'s but sometimes alternative medicine is what's needed. I would consider a chiropractor first if you feel he is getting a healthy diet, plenty of water, and plenty of rest.

Are you sure it's a mental health condition? Has he had any tests done to check if it's not a physical health condition? For example a tumor or something else in the head, or a neurological problem?

Your husband really needs to have an MRI and a neurological assessment. This sounds like a neurological problem not a Mental health issue.

wow that sounds very frightening and serious. I can guess that it's some type of disorder of the nervous system. Fibromyalgia? MS? The pain in his legs explains a problem with nerves.

Has he had a CT scan or MRI? Could be many things but I would get a CT scan or MRI (better) of the head. Could very well be a tumor.

Like the president told me when I streaked the inauguration, "I can clearly see you'(re) nuts."
