I haven't been with my boyfriend for very long but, sometimes he says things like that he is not sure whether or not he really wants to go out w/ me. And that if he did want to break up w/ me that he probably wouldn't cause he doesn't want to hurt me. We like hardly have any fun together because we are constantly sad or depressed around each other. What should I tell him or should I break up w/ him?

The good new is he is trying to be honest and communicate. The bad news is that he is indecisive and kind of a wuss. This also means he hasn't decided that he will be able to fall in love with you or he doesn't like you much. You are probably better off as friends. Break it off with him. Tell him you don't want to talk to him for two weeks so that you can both think things over.
Here's the hard part: don't talk to him for two weeks. Then if he wants to break up with you, he didn't really like you anyway and you are free to find somebody that does like you.

An end with a scare is better than a scare without an end.....if you and your boyfriend are sad around each other then there is something amiss. What does he do for you that you cannot do for yourself? That's a question I would ask myself. In addition to that, the fact that he is unsure of wether or not he would take you out and the remark that he would not break up so that he wouldn't hurt your feelings are an indication that sooner or later he would do that.
If I were you, I would ask me the question I mentioned above and start going out with friends of mine---how else could you make new friends? It will give you the opportunity to meet new people and hopefully give you and him the distance from each other that is needed to make a good decision....Good Luck

please break up before you both freak out. think about why you would want to be with someone. you meet guys all the time, everyday, and most of them get blown off or end up in the "friend zone". and then once in a great while you meet a guy who you decide is better than all those other guys for some reason and select him as a boyfriend. now based on that should this special guy make your life better? i'm not sying he should make all the clouds go away and be perfect, but of all the available guys you picked him. if he's not doing anything that makes your life just a little better whats the point? why would you stay in that situation? let's make it simple. if you're hanging out with your friends and you decide you're bored and not having fun you'd leave right? then if your relationship isn't fun, LEAVE! you both seem to not like eachother very much at all.

Only in true love can such happiness exist so yes tell him how you feel and just say, "I want to go back to how things were when we could have fun together and enjoy each others company" an then say, " I think we should be friends." or something to that effect, I don't think he will be that hurt if he feels that same way you do about the relationship.

This guy isnt good for you, no guy should openly say that he isnt sure if he wants to continue dating you. Sounds to me like he wants you to dump him so he doesnt get the guilt of dumping you, all the signs have been dropped. You should dump him,if you arent having fun why should you stay with him? There are better guys out there than this one, go find one that you will have fun with and that will give you the love you need.

it's about that time u 2 should seprate for awhile, or it will get worse, Plus if it's meant to be then later on, u 2 will get back together, but if u wanna be ahead break up with him first

Dude break up with him, he shouldnt be confused, he should know if he wants you. Or if you want... tell him... that you guys need a break and that maybe youll try again in a week and see how it is.

break up with him it will be better now than later. been there done that and i found out that i am more happy without him than i ever was with him...good luck and may god bless
